Mysskin's classic " Anjathey"

I saw Mysskin's Anjathey as a biopic of  two friends. Two thick friends who are embroiled in a

dispute. A restless hero and his calm friend, exchange their souls each other in the 2nd half.

So, what really is the problem?

In an interview with Mysskin, he reveals that this plot is inspired from Thanga Padhakkam.

Thanga Padhakkam is one movie, where we come out with a wounded heart and soul.

But, here, the story revolves between two friends.

After, Narain takes charge as a police officer, his family is on cloud nine.

But, his friend , who had studied day and night fails.

I couldn't avoid the dialogue from the movie Jiivi "Manasanukku varakudatha viyathi

      virakthi" hovering  in my mind.

Infected by Virakthi😞, his only job is to get drunked.  As time passes, he gets into bad

company with a ruthless criminal Dhaya (played by prasanna).

No wonder that Narain is able to crack persons by hearing their voice. He somehow

cracks the co-criminal and starts a ride against him. Heavy blows to one of his gang members.

Simentanously, the hero-to be criminal's father gets bed-ridden, and denies money from his best  friend. Brilliant Narain cracks the voice of his friend assaulting the officers, there starts the ride,

From there, we become a melodramatic audience, witnessing the shoot-out against his friend.

The characters are tightly packed that everyone has a motive, thereby moving the story.

Thupparivaalan was a underwhelming surprise.

All credits to Mysskin's unique film-making.

He gave me a delayed gift who has a mediocre opinion in him. Vishal is one man who is

ready to experiment. When anyone enters a Mysskin's film, he/she indirectly/ directly

absorbs  Mysskinism. Mysskinism is nothing but,  his magnificient making style that

            provides texture to the film.

The biggest miss of this film is , the audience struggle to absorb emotion.

Thupparivalan is all about a Detective (Played by Vishal), who is eager to solve a case.

The plot startswith a funny boy complaining to Vishal, that his dog is shot. The

               investigation begins

thereby , retaking the previous incidents in which the cases were covered as accident.

As, Vishal takes his first step, Andrea is seen powerful, takes multiple steps to cover

up or kill whoever  he tends to investigate.  Climbing one step ahead, Vinay goes on

to kill his killer mate, who he fears that he might spill the beans about him, because

of   the raided office.  There, the movie goes into a pleaseant location having

unpleasant violence. Though the twist of the devil is revealed in the climax, it hardly

excites as it goes in a bullet speed. Then, what not, hero kills the villain ,and only the

owner of the dog is satisfied, but not us.

Kaithi - A Rollocoaster rider.

Kaithi takes you to a unusual journey post-release of the Karthi's life. He is seemed to be a mystery

man with no other goal but to meet his daughter for the first time.

         What? The first time?

Karthi is blamed as a uncaring dad who fails  to take care of his daughter.

Once upon a time in Hollywood

I got up from the theatre's seat with a sense of "incompleteness" to which the movie ended. Of

course, this is my first ever movie of Quentin Tarantino I watched.

The story depicts the life of three main characters in different timelines of their own.

Initially, Leonardo di Caprio is seen starring in the TV series named "Bounty Law". Then he is seen

with his former professional stunt double who was fired from the Film Industry.

The story takes the audience to early 90s when Bruce Lee appears to be asserting himself.

While the marvellous and comical acting of Leonardo Di Caprio satisfies comical audience,

the popular actress is seen watching her own debut movie.

To conclude, this movie is a blend of classicism and violence.

Though Quentin has serious concepts to his movies, he adds violence which satisfies cult audience.
